  • 120 ml warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 40 g flour (for crumble topping)
  • 25 g sugar (for crumble topping)
  • 25 g cold butter, cubed (for crumble topping)
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Add warm milk and egg; mix until combined.
  2. Knead in softened butter until smooth. Let dough rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  3. Blend cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; set aside.
  4. Cook diced apple with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until slightly softened.
  5. Make crumble topping by mixing flour and sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread cheesecake filling and apple mixture over it. Roll tightly into a log and slice into six pieces.
  7. Place on a lined baking sheet; top with crumble mixture and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Drizzle with glaze after cooling slightly.
