- 30 g sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 120 ml warm milk
- 1 egg
- 40 g unsalted butter, softened
- 100 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 40 g flour (for crumble topping)
- 25 g sugar (for crumble topping)
- 25 g cold butter, cubed (for crumble topping)
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1–2 tsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Add warm milk and egg; mix until combined.
- Knead in softened butter until smooth. Let dough rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Blend cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; set aside.
- Cook diced apple with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until slightly softened.
- Make crumble topping by mixing flour and sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread cheesecake filling and apple mixture over it. Roll tightly into a log and slice into six pieces.
- Place on a lined baking sheet; top with crumble mixture and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
- Drizzle with glaze after cooling slightly.
