  • ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg for topping
  • pinch ground allspice for topping
  • 12 tbsp salted butter, melted for topping

Instructions

  1. Reduce apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until it thickens to about ¼ cup.
  2. Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth for the filling.
  3. Cream butter and sugars together, then incorporate egg yolks and reduced cider.
  4. Combine dry ingredients separately; mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
