- 1 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized strips
- 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Sear the seasoned steak tips for 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
- Lower heat and mix in Parmesan cheese until thickened; add Cajun seasoning and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Toss cooked pasta into the sauce to coat evenly.
- Serve topped with seared steak tips and garnish with parsley if desired.
