Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized strips
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Sear the seasoned steak tips for 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Lower heat and mix in Parmesan cheese until thickened; add Cajun seasoning and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce to coat evenly.
  7. Serve topped with seared steak tips and garnish with parsley if desired.
