Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine marsala apple vinegar and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer until reduced to 1 cup.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet; sear the chicken for about 10–12 minutes until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Sauté sliced mushrooms with garlic in the same skillet until golden brown.
- Pour the reduced sauce mixture into the skillet; stir in herbs and cornstarch mixture until thickened.
- Add heavy cream, return chicken to the pan, and garnish with parsley before serving.
