  • ¼ teaspoon each: salt/pepper
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Fresh Parsley (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and kidney beans.
  4. Simmer for about 20 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  6. In another pot, melt butter over medium heat; whisk in flour until combined.
  7. Gradually add heavy cream and milk while whisking until smooth; then stir in mustard powder and shredded cheese until melted.
  8. Combine cooked macaroni with the chili mixture; serve garnished with fresh parsley.
