- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 1/2 cup (45 g) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup (66 g) granulated sugar, for rolling dough
- 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut or vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the egg, vanilla, and molasses; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine this dry mixture with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
