  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add eggs, oil, and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix in orange food coloring.
  4. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Top with dollops of cream cheese mixture and swirl gently. Pour remaining brownie batter on top and swirl again if desired.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Cool before slicing.
