Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless beef loin, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup snow peas
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- Sriracha or chili garlic sauce (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the beef cubes, cornstarch, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix well to coat the beef evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes for the best flavor.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook while stirring occasionally until browned on all sides and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes). Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the red bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Then add snow peas and continue to stir-fry for another minute or two until they are crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet along with chopped green onions. Stir everything together and heat through for about one minute.
- Serve the flavorful beef and vegetable mixture over cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and drizzle with sriracha or chili garlic sauce if desired.
