  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare a cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch with water in a small bowl.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook marinated chicken for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, gochujang, milk, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the cream sauce.
  6. Assemble the bowls by placing cooked rice at the bottom and topping with chicken and fresh vegetables.
