- 1 1/2 cups (200g) powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup (42g) finely crushed peppermint bits or candy canes
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and salt; set aside.
- Cream unsalted butter and powdered sugar in an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add peppermint extract and gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Chill the dough for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until lightly golden; cool on wire racks.
